working conditionsActuaries generally have good working conditions. They work in an office setting more or less of the time. Sometimes they travel to meet with clients or business partners for a company. They work a 40 hour week and sometimes will work more than that with at home study or prolonged office hours. They are well compensated for their work, making it worth it. They work on computers mostly making presentations and doing much work with data and computer programs. They don't have to worry about very hazardous working conditions such as chemicals or anything along those lines.
